Planning + details

A few of the questions we’re most often asked as couples begin planning their wedding on the farm.

What’s included in the Lost Field Wedding?

The venue, seasonal florals grown and designed on site by Lost Field Studio, full planning and coordination, staffing, rentals from our Farm Collection, and bar service — all handled by one team. You arrange your photographer, officiant, caterer, and entertainment; we handle everything else.

How many guests can you accommodate?

The Lost Field Wedding accommodates up to 75 guests at $35,000, or up to 150 guests at $40,000. Elopements are available for up to 10 guests.

Where do guests stay?

Salt Spring Island has a wonderful range of nearby accommodation — we're happy to share recommendations after booking, and encourage booking early in peak season.

How do guests get to Salt Spring Island?

Salt Spring Island is easily reached by BC Ferries from Vancouver (Tsawwassen terminal) and Victoria (Swartz Bay terminal), with crossings running throughout the day. Most guests find the ferry crossing itself becomes part of the experience — a natural transition that sets the tone for the weekend. We're happy to share travel tips and timing recommendations after booking.

Do you offer planning support?

For Hosted and Curated weddings, planning and coordination are included. We guide the process, communicate with vendors, and ensure everything flows smoothly.

For Venue Package weddings, a professional planner is required to support your day.

Are florals included?

Yes. Floral design is created on the farm through Lost Field Studio and is included in all of our wedding offerings.

The scale of florals varies by package, but always reflects the season and what’s growing here.

What happens if it rains?

The barn and tent provide full coverage for ceremony, cocktails, and dinner. We plan layouts that can shift easily with the weather.

Can we choose our own vendors?

We share a curated list of photographers, officiants, and other vendors after booking. For catering, most couples work with our trusted culinary partners, though you're welcome to propose someone for approval.

What time does the celebration end?

Amplified music ends at 11pm. Many couples continue the evening at a nearby venue in town — we're happy to help coordinate the transition.
